A Spanish translation is required from every Swiss canton. Chile has been part of the Apostille Convention since 2016, and its administration adapted quickly — the apostille alone is enough, with no consular step. Ask the receiving office whether a Swiss certified translation is accepted or whether they want one produced in Chile; practice varies by institution.
